Cvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov, born Dec 8, 1999, is a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player from Bulgaria, currently playing as AWPer for Evil Geniuses.
Growing up as a kid, CeRq’s attention was directed towards video games, besides sports that he used to play like football. Computers were something he understood very well from a young age, so naturally, he would spent hours, sometimes days in front of the screen.His parents had always known that his career would be involving computers but not in a million years would they be able to guess that CeRq would end up being a professional gamer. His choice came as a shock to almost everyone around him, but only because they were unaware of how skilled he is. Considering his overall results, his always improving stats and the years in front of him that could be used for growth and development, the choice CeRq has made was absolutely the right one.
CeRq is often known to be the main reason behind good team spirit, due to the jokes he makes with the rest of the team during matches. He takes his job very seriously but never misses an opportunity to lift his teammates and lighten up the situation with a dose of humor.
On many occasions, he was described as “Bulgarian AWP beast” which says enough about his accuracy and timing. He is publicly considered to be one of the best AWPers in 2019, which is not an easy status to acquire. CeRq is still pretty young and this early in his career it is impossible to guess how great he could possibly become, but there is without a doubt huge potential in him. Some of the teams that had CeRq on their roster were WinFiction, Outlaws, NRG and his current squad – Evil Geniuses. His best spot in the world rankings was back in 2019, where CeRq finished as 18th best player in the world.
